Why Work with Us
By leveraging over thirty years of nonprofit finance and operations experience, Structural Integrity can help you build a flexible, equitable, people-centered operating foundation that serves your people and mission for years to come.
We know how important core business functions – like budgeting, financial reporting, communications, knowledge and document management, hiring and performance, technology, and data systems – are to an organization's effectiveness. Conversely, we’ve also experienced the significant and relentless challenges that can arise when these core systems are missing or inadequate.
Too many individual nonprofits are left trying to figure this out for themselves, often within tight budget constraints and pressing program and fundraising needs. However, these core operational functions – when done well – prevent the waste of scarce time and financial resources that can be strained by constant work-arounds and confusion.
“I’ve seen firsthand, through my years working closely with Sage and Dave, the crucial role a strong and flexible finance and operations structure plays in supporting an organization as it pushes the boundaries of the possible. With their trusted leadership over core business functions, I was able to concentrate on programmatic and fundraising opportunities and the challenges that all leaders inevitably face. Sage and Dave approach their work with quality, unrelenting focus on mission, camaraderie, and a sense of humor and perspective.”

How we work
Equity & Inclusion
We believe that strong operations systems play an essential role in creating an equitable and inclusive workplace. Without explicitly-and intentionally-designed systems, participation in decision-making and access to resources are prone to dependence on who has power or proximity to it. We engage staff closest to and most impacted by the work, create equitable systems that ensure all staff have the information and resources they need to achieve their goals, and embed anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices within the operations of an organization.

Custom-built Solutions
You know your work best. We see ourselves as colleagues in bringing our time and experience to complement your expertise. We don’t have “one size fits all” solutions or a fixed vision of how things must be done – we believe that there are best practices and lessons to be drawn from, but our goal is to create changes that work best for your organization’s goals and challenges.
Implementation
We know that often the hardest part of making changes is finding the time to do so. We come to this work first and foremost as practitioners, and we know that recommendations misaligned with your capacity to implement and maintain can harm more than help. That’s why implementation is a central part of our work. In addition to making recommendations, we can build the systems, tools, and resources you need, train staff, and advise on the strategies necessary to keep what we build together functioning.
